i wish this would come into it a little more tbf

maybe I need to hand in my queer card or something but I so don’t read this scene as having any subtext at all?  or even any hint of sherlock being a good person?

like I see it more as

#that moment when sherlock realizes he is in the presence of a bigger badass than him

or maybe

#that moment when sherlock realizes that he was wrong about something and man he really hates to be wrong

idk, I mean people can romanticize sherlock all they want of course, but personally I think sherlock is a huge bag of dicks and I don’t mind that at all I think it makes him a good character so uhhh whatevs :D
